A high-level industrial delegation from the State of Oman held a special meeting with officials of the Ministry of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources at the Ministry premises this morning (14).
The Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka, His Excellency ISOMATA Akio, has reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to supporting the modernization of Sri Lanka’s fisheries sector through the introduction of advanced technology and innovative development projects.

The concluding workshop of the four-year project “Smart and Sustainable Aquaculture through Effective Biosecurity and Digital Technology”, implemented with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and financial contributions from the Government of South Korea, was successfully held in Colombo yesterday (12).
