The 13th District Fisheries Coordination Committee meeting was successfully held on 16th of July at the Ampara District Secretariat under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources, Rathna Gamage.
Addressing a number of challenges faced by the Sri Lankan shrimp export industry, the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has introduced a new and comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for shrimp re-exportation.
A significant meeting was held today at the Ministry of Fisheries between the Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic, and Ocean Resources, Ramalingam Chandrasekar, and the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, H.E. Santosh Jha.
