Minister of Fisheries, Aquatic and Ocean Resources Ramalingam Chandrasekar personally inspected the ongoing work to widen the Colombuthurai Landing Site in Jaffna and improve its infrastructure facilities.

The project is being implemented with the aim of further improving the facilities at the landing site, taking into consideration the needs of the fishing community. During the inspection, the Minister obtained detailed information from officials regarding the current progress of the project and the construction activities planned for the future. The project has been allocated an estimated Rs. 205 million.
