Hon. Douglas Devananda, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources appointed Mr. Thushara Chaminda Lokukumara as the Director General of National Aquatic Resources Research Development Agency (NARA).
Mr. Lokukumara accepted duties of his new post at an auspicious time in the morning hours of 30th January 2020. Nara Institution which carries out exploratory and Research activities is a very important body, introducing new technology to the fisheries Industries.
Mr. Nelson Edirisinghe, Media Secretary to Hon. Douglas Devananda, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Rersources and Mr. Prasad Ranasinghe, Director of Human Resources, NARA participated on this occasion.
