He also focused on the welfare of the poor, the helpless, orphans and marginalized members of society, while emphasizing virtues such as helping others and acting with social responsibility.<\/p><p><em>&#8220;Indeed, Allah commands justice, excellence, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, wrongdoing, and transgression.&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 The Holy Qur\u2019an 16:90<\/p><p>This divine verse clearly demonstrates the importance of justice, goodness and social responsibility in human life. These noble qualities have the potential not only to guide individual lives towards the right path, but also to guide society as a whole.<\/p><p>In our Sri Lanka, where people of different ethnicities, religions and languages live together, mutual understanding, religious harmony and brotherhood are very important foundations for our future. The message of humanity and social justice found in the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will serve as a strong guide towards building such a united society.<\/p><p>In today\u2019s society, we all have a responsibility to act with love, peace and understanding, without allowing hatred, divisions and misunderstandings to take root. In particular, it will greatly contribute to the progress of the country if young people and future generations cultivate qualities such as good character, tolerance, social responsibility and humanity in their lives.<\/p><p>Milad-un-Nabi Day should not merely be a day to celebrate a religious occasion, but also a day on which we resolve to put into practice the noble qualities of love, compassion, justice, equality and brotherhood in our daily lives.<\/p><p>On this sacred day, I pray to God that the homes of all Muslim people in Sri Lanka may be filled with peace, happiness, good health, prosperity and harmony, and that all their good endeavours may be successful.<\/p><p>My warmest and heartfelt Milad-un-Nabi Day greetings to all my Muslim brothers and sisters in Sri
